Borax

Like Soda Crystals, Borax is a great water softener, so when added to your wash, means that less detergent is needed. It is also great for removing stains from clothes and fabrics. It can be dissolved in warm water to use as a pre-wash soak or add a couple of tablespoons to the detergent drawer as a laundry booster.

Borax has a natural brightening action so is an ideal additive – especially for non-biological powders. It may also mean that you can use a lower temperature wash than you might ordinarily – another sound environmental reason for using Dri-Pak's 'Clean and Natural' range.
